The process of soap making is very easy and you won't need a lot of time to complete the entire process. First decide on what process of you will use in making soap. The cold process is recommended especially if you plan on selling your soaps as this will yield soaps with better quality.

The cold process is done by first by dissolving lye in water. Once the lye is fully dissolved, you may now pour in the oil f your choice. This will then undergo a process called saponification. You will need to continue mixing the mixture until it becomes homogenous. Once you have achieved this, you can now pour your mixture onto molds for your soap to take shape.

For around 2 days, you will still need to leave your soap covered in these molds as they will continue with the saponification process. After 2 days you may remove the covers and the soap may already be used during this time. But if you want harder and higher quality soaps, you can choose to leave your soap in their molds for a month so that they can fully harden.

Once you have become really good at making soap, you can start varying your style of making soap and add some other ingredients to increase the appeal of your soap. Using coloring dyes is a big plus when it comes to designing your soap. The use of herbal extracts and fragrance soaps may also be useful in adding appeal to your soap.

Another thing that you can do to make your soap more appealing is to design the outer appearance of your soap. This can be done by using different molds, combining different soaps and sculpting your soaps in a way that you like. This will make your soap better looking and make more people buy your creations.
