The Pork Mediterranean Taco Is Fit For A King!

by Shea Suzer

Lately in Wellington, Florida (one of South Florida's many popular areas), I have been eating a lot of flavorful burritos. I think I have tried all of different styles for burritos and have decided to move on to tacos! I was initially very excited. If tacos were even half as delicious as the burritos I had been eating recently then I was in for a treat. In retrospect though, I was wholly unprepared for what followed. I have never had a taco taste as good as the pork mediterranean taco before in my life! I don't know what I was expecting, but this was not it!

Immediately curious, I watched them start to prepare my taco. Or should I say tacos! Three soft flour tortillas were laid out just for me. They looked absolutely delicious, and I was anxious to see what happened next.

Then it was off to the meat (chicken, chicken breast, pork, and steak). Or no meat at all, I was immediately informed of by the employee helping me. The mediterranean was a perfect vegetarian meal in and of itself already, and no meat was necessary. Though for the carnivores, it did add a little bit of flavor.

I immediately saw what the nice employee was talking about when the first ingredient was a rich black bean hummus. It looked and tasted delightful. This black bean hummus was really something!

When I saw they they were loading on diced tomatoes, my excitement was full throttle. I am a huge tomato fan. I think they really bring so much to a meal, and when she told me that Florida dining bought their tomatoes through local farmers, I was hugely impressed.

When I got to the cheeses, my eyes widened. Cheese is probably one of my favorite delicacies ever, and I was overwhelmed with choices. When I asked what they suggested for the mediterranean, the employees all recommended parmesan. They really knew what they were talking about!

After the cheese, moving down the line of ingredients, I added cucumbers. These fresh cucumbers were absolutely divine. They brought a completely different twist to my taco! I also decided to add a little bit of delicious corn!

Arguably the most important part is the sauce. For the mediterranean, you'll want to employ the balsamic vinaigrette. This is easily the best decision with this taco and you will not look back.

Nowhere in the field of wraps does anything compare to the vegetarian mediterranean taco. I am so satisfied with my purchase. I cannot wait to experience more of this fine Palm Beach tacos.
